What are High Concentration PV systems?
What are the challenges for high concentrating PV systems?
The eficciency of a PV cell decreases with increasing temperature. Highly concentrated sunlight incident on a PV cell will therefore dramatically increase the cell's temperature, resulting in a loss of efficiency. Dispersing this heat and minimising the temperature of CPV cells is a significant challenge to overcome.
How are these challanges being addressed by SISER researchers?
